This plan is on display in the doorway at the main public entrance of the Town Hall in Dolna Banya.
The initial project was developed by the local council, who created the plans.
On 14 June 2005 the contract for the design of the golf course was signed ceremonially at the Boyana Presidential Residence in Sofia with Nicklaus Design and the Ibar Golf Club in the presence of the lead designer, Steve Nicklaus, son of Jack Nicklaus.
The golf course is planned to be ready in the autumn of 2007.
